Christos Alexiadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Tavlaridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Babbis Voulgaridis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christos Alexiadis. Palaiokhσri BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Babbis Voulgaridis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Palaiokhσri BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Alexiadis should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

A hard shot 55 in the game by Miltos Platonidis from a close distance when the talented Christos Alexiadis managed to make a qualified save. Palaiokhσri BC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Palaiokhσri BC's Christos Alexiadis got control of the ball when Lefteris Karagiorgas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alexis Mazarakis fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palaiokhσri BC's protests and gave Alexis Mazarakis a yellow card for diving instead. Alexis Mazarakis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Babbis Voulgaridis came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christos Alexiadis could save by the left post. Christos Alexiadis stood somewhat misplaced when Miltos Platonidis came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Thanks to some nice moves Babbis Voulgaridis could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Christos Alexiadis however easily saved by the left post. Christos Alexiadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Karapitsios in the 77th minute of play. Babbis Voulgaridis came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christos Alexiadis could save by the left post. Babbis Voulgaridis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Christos Alexiadis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Palaiokhσri BC's zone, Vaggelis Karapitsios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Alexiadis came out of the goal and Vaggelis Karapitsios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palaiokhσri BC's Christos Alexiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Tavlaridis in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Sakis Tavlaridis rounded Palaiokhσri BC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. With his leg Christos Alexiadis managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Pandoriones's Sakis Tavlaridis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 98th minute, Miltos Platonidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pandoriones's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
