Pythagoras F.C's Petros Polichronidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Korellas in the 3rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikitas Fragou couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Keramνdhion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikitas Fragou came free, but Kosmas Katakouzinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Nikitas Fragou made a precise shot to the right of Kosmas Katakouzinos. Keramνdhion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Omiros Plexidas managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Pythagoras F.C booed when Keramνdhion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Peridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omiros Plexidas was the one to do the kick off. Nikitas Fragou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kosmas Katakouzinos having to make a save. Kosmas Katakouzinos was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Anastasios Simeonidis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Keramνdhion FC's goalkeeper Kosmas Katakouzinos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miltos Logothetis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Kosmas Katakouzinos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kosmas Katakouzinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omiros Plexidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Louis Korellas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Polichronidis having to interfere. Kosmas Katakouzinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Logothetis in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Kostas Peridis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keramνdhion FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pythagoras F.C the free kick. After 80 played minutes Keramνdhion FC got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Peridis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltos Logothetis in the 82nd minute of play forced Keramνdhion FC's goalkeeper Kosmas Katakouzinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Keramνdhion FC's Kosmas Katakouzinos got control of the ball when Giorgos Gabriilidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miltos Logothetis might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kosmas Katakouzinos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miltos Logothetis ran back to his position shaking his head. Omiros Plexidas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kosmas Katakouzinos having to interfere. A hard shot 93 in the game by Nikitas Fragou from a close distance when the talented Kosmas Katakouzinos managed to make a qualified save. Keramνdhion FC's players were relieved. 94 minutes into the match, Louis Korellas notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Pythagoras F.C's Petros Polichronidis. Petros Polichronidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Pythagoras F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Keramνdhion FC.
