Vassilis Eleftheratos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vassilis Eleftheratos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orestis Papoutsiadis went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Neokaisária's Fondas Serelis got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Orestis Papoutsiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΟ ΑΜΠΕΛΟΚΗΠΟΙ's supporters rose to their feet, but Orestis Papoutsiadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Eleftheratos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orestis Papoutsiadis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vassilis Eleftheratos having to make a save. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orestis Papoutsiadis was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes in the game, Orestis Papoutsiadis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vassilis Eleftheratos having to interfere. Stamatis Skountouflas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theofanis Latsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orestis Papoutsiadis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. ΑΟ ΑΜΠΕΛΟΚΗΠΟΙ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 93 minutes Neokaisária's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pavlos Matsaggos who took care of the corner kick. In the 96th match minute, Neokaisária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timos Seitaridis to maneuver through the defense. ΑΟ ΑΜΠΕΛΟΚΗΠΟΙ played a much better game than Neokaisária and deserved their victory. The Neokaisária players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
