In the 12thth minute of the game Alekos Kabolis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Λαχανόκηποι's Chatziioannou Georgeas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Λαχανόκηποι's Marinos Tzanetakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Minas Lazakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Marinos Tzanetakos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Minas Lazakis, 1-2. Chatziioannou Georgeas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Xinos in the 20th minute of play. Λαχανόκηποι's Chatziioannou Georgeas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Kabolis in the 22nd minute of play. Alekos Kabolis scored 1-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chatziioannou Georgeas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michalis Xinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Λαχανόκηποι's Omiros Taxiarchis got a free kick in the 28th minute. Alekos Kabolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sotiris Chatzis's late challenge caught a Λαχανόκηποι's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sotiris Chatzis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Λαχανόκηποι booed when Mesargos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Chatzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chatziioannou Georgeas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Kabolis in the 37th minute of play. If Sotiris Chatzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mesargos FC booed when Λαχανόκηποι was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolis Michas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alekos Kabolis in the 42nd minute of play forced Λαχανόκηποι's goalkeeper Chatziioannou Georgeas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakis Anagnostou hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Mesargos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iordanis Ntolkas in the 48th minute. A nice corner shot did that Iordanis Ntolkas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chatziioannou Georgeas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The crowd rose to their feet as Mesargos FC's Alekos Kabolis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chatziioannou Georgeas. That made the score 1-4 after 52 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Λαχανόκηποι's zone, Alekos Kabolis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chatziioannou Georgeas came out of the goal and Alekos Kabolis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Renos Karavokiris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesargos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renos Karavokiris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chatziioannou Georgeas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alekos Kabolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mesargos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iordanis Ntolkas in the 65th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Mesargos FC's Renos Karavokiris made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chatziioannou Georgeas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Michalis Xinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Georgeas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Λαχανόκηποι's zone, Renos Karavokiris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chatziioannou Georgeas came out of the goal and Renos Karavokiris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Λαχανόκηποι's Chatziioannou Georgeas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Kabolis in the 82nd minute of play. Michalis Xinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Chatziioannou Georgeas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mesargos FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Mesargos FC's Alekos Kabolis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Alekos Kabolis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chatziioannou Georgeas was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute of the match Dimos Koliopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chatziioannou Georgeas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Alekos Kabolis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesargos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alekos Kabolis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Λαχανόκηποι's goalkeeper Chatziioannou Georgeas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michalis Xinos. When the match was over Mesargos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Λαχανόκηποι throughout the match.
