An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Tzanetakos in the 22nd minute of play forced Flesiαs BC's goalkeeper Loukas Lazarakoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Flesiαs BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nektarios Boutzoukas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Loukas Vahanelidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Λαχανόκηποι's supporters rose to their feet, but Loukas Vahanelidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loukas Lazarakoglou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loukas Vahanelidis in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loukas Lazarakoglou saved Flesiαs BC from getting behind. After 39 minutes of play, Flesiαs BC's Antonis Dellios made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chatziioannou Georgeas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonis Dellios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Georgeas having to interfere. Sakis Anagnostou hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the game, Antonis Dellios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chatziioannou Georgeas. Antonis Dellios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonis Dellios to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Flesiαs BC's goalkeeper Loukas Lazarakoglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marinos Tzanetakos. After a defensive mix-up in Flesiαs BC's zone, Marinos Tzanetakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loukas Lazarakoglou came out of the goal and Marinos Tzanetakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Antonis Dellios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apostolis Michas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Flesiαs BC got a freekick which was hit by Argyris Ifantis. Loukas Vahanelidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loukas Lazarakoglou having to interfere. If Antonis Dellios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argyris Ifantis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chatziioannou Georgeas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Antonis Dellios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loukas Vahanelidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Loukas Lazarakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Antonis Dellios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chatziioannou Georgeas was relentless in the 100th minute of the game. Flesiαs BC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
