Minas Lazakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orestis Moraitopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Orestis Moraitopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Lazakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orestis Moraitopoulos made a kick off. Nikolas Kaplatzis was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Alekos Kabolis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alekos Kabolis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The supporters of RED DEVILS F.C booed when Mesargos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakis Panagoulias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lefteris Mouratidis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. RED DEVILS F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
