Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dimitris Kapetanopoulos got the match started through his kick off. If Miltos Konstantinidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panos Varelakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Rakkas having to interfere. Dimitris Kapetanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Liris having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Vladimiros Anagnostopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Π.Α.Ο. Μενιδιου's Nikos Liris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st of the match, Dimitris Kapetanopoulos tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nikos Liris got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Dimitris Kapetanopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Astakσs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Kapetanopoulos couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Vladimiros Anagnostopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astakσs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Π.Α.Ο. Μενιδιου the free kick. Thalis Tsitouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thalis Tsitouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Liris having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miltos Konstantinidis to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Π.Α.Ο. Μενιδιου's zone, Thalis Tsitouras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Liris came out of the goal and Thalis Tsitouras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitris Kapetanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nikos Liris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Varelakis's late challenge caught a Astakσs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Varelakis helped the player get up and apologised. Panos Varelakis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Thalis Tsitouras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Thalis Tsitouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Thalis Tsitouras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astakσs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thalis Tsitouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theofanis Karasavvas took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikos Liris. Nikos Liris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Miltos Konstantinidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michalis Rakkas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miltos Konstantinidis's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Thalis Tsitouras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikos Liris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nontas Okkas in the 85th minute of play. If Thalis Tsitouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Panos Varelakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Π.Α.Ο. Μενιδιου's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Varelakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michalis Rakkas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Thalis Tsitouras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Astakσs getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Theofanis Karasavvas hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Astakσs had played much better football throughout.
