Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sotiris Bolosis started the match with the kick off. Themis Iordanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Tsitouras in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Sotiris Bolosis rounded Astakσs's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akis Pnevmatikatos during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Astakσs's Akis Pnevmatikatos got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Thalis Tsitouras made a precise shot to the right of Themis Iordanidis. Χαριλάου United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The throw-in from Akis Pnevmatikatos in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Χαριλάου United's Apostolikas Minou. When Dimitris Kapetanopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Astakσs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Kapetanopoulos couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Thalis Tsitouras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Themis Iordanidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Themis Iordanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Kapetanopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Kostas Dimitrakopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Rakkas having to interfere. In the 48th minute Sotiris Bolosis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Rakkas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Kapetanopoulos made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Vrasidas Siamantouras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michalis Rakkas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alketas Kasimidis in the 53rd minute of play. Themis Iordanidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thalis Tsitouras in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Alketas Kasimidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Χαριλάου United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astakσs the free kick. Alketas Kasimidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Michalis Rakkas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Χαριλάου United's Kostas Dimitrakopoulos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michalis Rakkas was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Thalis Tsitouras came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Astakσs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thalis Tsitouras couldn't finish the play. If Kostas Dimitrakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Nontas Okkas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Χαριλάου United's Kostas Dimitrakopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michalis Rakkas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Sotiris Bolosis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michalis Rakkas. Astakσs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sotiris Bolosis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Astakσs's zone, Sotiris Bolosis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Rakkas came out of the goal and Sotiris Bolosis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Kostas Dimitrakopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Χαριλάου United's Themis Iordanidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Χαριλάου United from getting a goal against them.
