Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Panos Travezeas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Travezeas in the 6th minute of play forced Khαrkia FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Mavrogenidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panos Travezeas in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustratios Mavrogenidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustratios Mavrogenidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panos Travezeas's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Travezeas in the 13th minute of play forced Khαrkia FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Mavrogenidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fondas Kostarakis came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Khαrkia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fondas Kostarakis couldn't finish the play. In the 34th match minute, Apollonas Thermou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonidas Lekanis to maneuver through the defense. Stathis Zoras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Garpozis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Fondas Kostarakis took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stathis Zoras. Stathis Zoras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Odysseas Skopidis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Eustratios Mavrogenidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Travezeas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Apollonas Thermou booed when Khαrkia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Katsavos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustratios Mavrogenidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Travezeas in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Apollonas Thermou's Fragiskos Christidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustratios Mavrogenidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stathis Zoras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fondas Kostarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khαrkia FC's Eustratios Mavrogenidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Travezeas in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Panos Travezeas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apollonas Thermou fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 75 minutes of play, Apollonas Thermou's Panos Travezeas made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustratios Mavrogenidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonidas Lekanis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Khαrkia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Travezeas came free, but Eustratios Mavrogenidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustratios Mavrogenidis came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Apollonas Thermou's Panos Travezeas. But to his dismay, Panos Travezeas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Minas Babiniotis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Eustratios Mavrogenidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apollonas Thermou. The audience thought a goal was coming when Odysseas Skopidis got free with Stathis Zoras in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Panos Travezeas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apollonas Thermou fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Travezeas in the 96th minute of play forced Khαrkia FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Mavrogenidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Apollonas Thermou had played much better football throughout.
