Panagiotis Xiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Soulis Valassiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Φοίνικας's Giorgos Gitas got a free kick in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theodosis Manolas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kostas Mermigis charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kostas Mermigis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Kremasti FC got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Mermigis. Christos Magoulas came free in the 70th minute and tried to tip the ball over Charis Kavaliaratos, but to the joy of Kremasti FC's supporters the ball went over. Soulis Valassiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Xiros in the 73rd minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Theodosis Manolas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Charis Kavaliaratos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Kremasti FC booed when Φοίνικας was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Gitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodosis Manolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charis Kavaliaratos having to interfere. The Kremasti FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Φοίνικας's performance. The match ended with a win for Φοίνικας.
