Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Stathis Philipidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vemaνika FC and the Zóli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stathis Philipidis kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Anthimos Zafiriou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zóli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthimos Zafiriou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonidas Karkamanis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolis Belos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Vemaνika FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Stathis Philipidis hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Vemaνika FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthimos Zafiriou came free, but Tolis Belos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentinos Kalaboukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos in the 15th minute of play. Nikos Giasemiss short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Valentinos Kalaboukas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Valentinos Kalaboukas managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Vemaνika FC's Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th match minute, Zóli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Katsapopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Zóli FC's Valentinos Kalaboukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos in the 21st minute of play. If Anthimos Zafiriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentinos Kalaboukas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th match minute, Zóli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolas Kabantais to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Valentinos Kalaboukas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vemaνika FC. In the 29th match minute, Vemaνika FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Kokkalas to maneuver through the defense. Valentinos Kalaboukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nikos Giasemis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zóli FC's goalkeeper Valentinos Kalaboukas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentinos Kalaboukas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Giasemis in the 39th minute. Nikos Giasemis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonidas Karkamanis to make the kick off. Tolis Belos made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Anthimos Zafiriou sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th match minute, Vemaνika FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Athanasakis to maneuver through the defense. Anthimos Zafiriou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikos Giasemis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Valentinos Kalaboukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakis Serdaris's late challenge caught a Zóli FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakis Serdaris helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zóli FC booed when Vemaνika FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakis Serdaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelios Kokkalas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Valentinos Kalaboukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos in the 77th minute of the match. Anthimos Zafiriou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikos Giasemis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Valentinos Kalaboukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
