Thanos Iakovatos's late challenge caught a Triαnda BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Iakovatos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Triαnda BC booed when Krνni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanos Iakovatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iakovos Papafanakis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Pontios saved Krνni FC from getting behind. Iakovos Zoumakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Vranas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Iakovos Papafanakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kostas Pontios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Krνni FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Aggelos Kontaxis hit a great ball. Kostas Pontios made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Thodoris Konstantakis sent off a good shot on target. If Giorgos Vranas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thodoris Konstantakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Nikiforos Agritis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Zoumakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krνni FC's Kostas Pontios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thodoris Konstantakis in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Chrisostomos Ignatiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krνni FC's Alkinoos Maragopoulos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Triαnda BC. Thanos Iakovatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Iakovos Zoumakis made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thodoris Konstantakis in the 97th minute of play forced Krνni FC's goalkeeper Kostas Pontios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Krνni FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Triαnda BC.
