Thalis Siamantouras might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitris Sapanis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thalis Siamantouras ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th match minute, Agios Ioanis Gigenon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Nikoloudis to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match, Adamantios Liaskovitis sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Dimitris Sapanis showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Thalis Siamantouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dimitris Sapanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
