Katergarides FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Anestis Trilofos scored to the left of an out of position Odysseas Kaladamis, making the score, 1-0. Odysseas Kaladamis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Trilofos went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 15 played minutes Malounion got a freekick which was hit by Michalis Tzanetakos. When Michalis Tzanetakos came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Malounion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Tzanetakos couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alketas Papadaskalopoulos during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alketas Papadaskalopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Katergarides FC's Zisis Spyropoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Mitropoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Michalis Tzanetakos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Odysseas Kaladamis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. Anestis Trilofos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Katergarides FC's Odysseas Kaladamis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Katergarides FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petros Skiadopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Michalis Tzanetakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petros Skiadopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petros Skiadopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Katergarides FC's Petros Skiadopoulos got a free kick in the 58th minute. Odysseas Kaladamis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Tzanetakos in the 61st minute of play. Odysseas Kaladamis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anestis Trilofos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Trilofos in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odysseas Kaladamis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malounion's Michalis Tzanetakos got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Michalis Tzanetakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odysseas Kaladamis was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Michalis Tzanetakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Katergarides FC's Apostolos Provatidis got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Odysseas Kaladamis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anestis Trilofos in the 76th minute of play. If Michalis Tzanetakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achilleas Stavroulis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Odysseas Kaladamis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilleas Stavroulis in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Malounion's Michalis Tzanetakos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Odysseas Kaladamis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Petros Skiadopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Vassilis Panaretos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odysseas Kaladamis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Katergarides FC's Odysseas Kaladamis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Trilofos in the 96th minute of play. If Michalis Tzanetakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odysseas Kaladamis came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Malounion's Anestis Trilofos. But to his dismay, Anestis Trilofos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Malounion were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
