Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Eustratios Rigatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Bouloukos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sotiris Tsekouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lakis Likouriotis made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Dimosthenis Stefanoulis sent off a good shot on target. Kyriakos Bouloukos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Theriaklis in the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nikánor BC's goalkeeper Kyriakos Bouloukos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kyriakos Bouloukos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustratios Rigatos's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Giorgos Dilberis fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pythagóreion's protests and gave Giorgos Dilberis a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Pythagóreion got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Dilberis. The supporters of Pythagóreion booed when Nikánor BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Mitrakoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nikánor BC's zone, Tasos Provatidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyriakos Bouloukos came out of the goal and Tasos Provatidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kyriakos Bouloukos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustratios Rigatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pythagóreion! Lakis Likouriotis had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Sotiris Tsekouras's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nikánor BC's Panos Vernikos got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tasos Provatidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Bouloukos having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Eustratios Rigatos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kyriakos Bouloukos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tasos Provatidis was the one to do the kick off. Sakis Papachristou hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Nikánor BC's Sotiris Tsekouras in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pythagóreion's goalie prevented a goal. Panos Vernikos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Pythagóreion's Minas Boniatis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Nikánor BC's Konstantinos Travlos was substituted for Sakis Papachristou. In the 74th match minute, Pythagóreion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Boniatis to maneuver through the defense. Panos Vernikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Likouriotis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tasos Provatidis in the 86th minute of play forced Nikánor BC's goalkeeper Kyriakos Bouloukos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Panos Vernikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigoris Poursalidis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Panos Vernikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Likouriotis having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Panos Vernikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lakis Likouriotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotiris Tsekouras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
