The player immediately received a yellow card. Eustratios Rigatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odysseas Kaladamis having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tasos Provatidis in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odysseas Kaladamis saved Katergarides FC from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Eustratios Rigatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustratios Rigatos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Odysseas Kaladamis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tasos Provatidis in the 24th minute of the match. Pythagóreion's Eustratios Rigatos got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustratios Rigatos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Odysseas Kaladamis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pythagóreion. Odysseas Kaladamis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustratios Rigatos's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Tasos Provatidis took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Odysseas Kaladamis. Odysseas Kaladamis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Odysseas Kaladamis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Provatidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Katergarides FC's Odysseas Kaladamis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustratios Rigatos in the 42nd minute of play. Odysseas Kaladamis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustratios Rigatos in the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Eustratios Rigatos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pythagóreion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustratios Rigatos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Odysseas Kaladamis came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Pythagóreion's Eustratios Rigatos. But to his dismay, Eustratios Rigatos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tasos Provatidis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tasos Provatidis in the 60th minute of play forced Katergarides FC's goalkeeper Odysseas Kaladamis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tasos Provatidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Odysseas Kaladamis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tasos Provatidis ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Eustratios Rigatos took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Odysseas Kaladamis to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Tasos Provatidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odysseas Kaladamis was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With his leg Odysseas Kaladamis managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Pythagóreion's Eustratios Rigatos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Odysseas Kaladamis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Provatidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Odysseas Kaladamis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustratios Rigatos in the 91st minute. Eustratios Rigatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odysseas Kaladamis having to interfere. Eustratios Rigatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Tasos Provatidis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Odysseas Kaladamis, passed just outside the right post. Pythagóreion's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
