Zinon Chatzidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Dhirrαkhion FC got a freekick which was hit by Zinon Chatzidis. A hard shot 6 in the game by Cirilo Cresencio from a close distance when the talented Viktoras Melogiannis managed to make a qualified save. Dhirrαkhion FC's players were relieved. In the 8th minute of the match Kostas Vakalos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktoras Melogiannis skillfully saved the ball. Panos Silleos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Agathopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Dhirrαkhion FC's Viktoras Melogiannis got control of the ball when Thomas Eleftheropoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Eleftheropoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Viktoras Melogiannis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cirilo Cresencio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktoras Melogiannis having to make a save. After 27 played minutes, Drámesi's Kostas Vakalos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viktoras Melogiannis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Drámesi reached it. Panos Silleos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Agapidis in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Drámesi booed when Dhirrαkhion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soulis Papachronakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Cresencio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktoras Melogiannis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Charilaos Katsourinis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viktoras Melogiannis. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. When Drámesi's Cirilo Cresencio in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Fanis Agapidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fanis Agapidis made a kick off. Panagiotis Boulikakis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Dhirrαkhion FC's Viktoras Melogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Cresencio in the 55th minute of play. Panos Silleos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanos Agathopoulos got free with Panos Silleos in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panos Silleos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Agapidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Viktoras Melogiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Cirilo Cresencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Viktoras Melogiannis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Cresencio in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktoras Melogiannis saved Dhirrαkhion FC from getting behind. Dhirrαkhion FC's Viktoras Melogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Cresencio in the 86th minute of play. If Cirilo Cresencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kostas Kouromichelakis fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dhirrαkhion FC's protests and gave Kostas Kouromichelakis a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, one of Dhirrαkhion FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Agapidis in the 99th minute of play forced Drámesi's goalkeeper Panos Silleos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drámesi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
