Theodosis Papastathopoulos hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes Néa Sánda FC got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Karypidis. In the 14th minute, Dimitris Pirimachos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Maggi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 17 played minutes Néa Sánda FC got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Karypidis. 19 minutes into the match, Néa Sánda FC's Dimitris Pirimachos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Maggi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Labriakos in the 21st minute of play forced Vrahateika FC's goalkeeper Alex Maggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Timos Kladis managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Vrahateika FC's Alexis Kontogiannidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute, Néa Sánda FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexis Kontogiannidis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alexis Kontogiannidiss short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Timos Kladis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 32 minutes Vrahateika FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kyriakos Zotalidis who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Eustratios Massoutas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Alexis Kontogiannidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Néa Sánda FC's Timos Kladis got control of the ball when Alexis Kontogiannidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Vrahateika FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Néa Sánda FC were winning 0-1.

A collision led to Néa Sánda FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vassilis Karypidis hit a great ball. Vaggelis Labriakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Maggi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Vaggelis Labriakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Néa Sánda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Labriakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alexis Kontogiannidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vrahateika FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Kontogiannidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timos Kladis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaggelis Labriakos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Alex Maggi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timos Kladis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Polymeris in the 80th minute of play. Vrahateika FC's Alexis Kontogiannidis got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vaggelis Labriakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Maggi having to interfere. Alex Maggi made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Dimitris Pirimachos sent off a good shot on target. Alex Maggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Labriakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaggelis Labriakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Néa Sánda FC's zone, Alexis Kontogiannidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timos Kladis came out of the goal and Alexis Kontogiannidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Babbis Polymeris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Timos Kladis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaggelis Labriakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Néa Sánda FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
