With an all-out effort, Thasas BC's Pavlos Papoulis threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Labakis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 11th match minute, Agios Akakios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errikos Skondras to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Vassilis Tsantirakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paraskevas Laganas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spyros Sabatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Papoulis having to interfere. A collision led to Thasas BC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nikos Panagidis hit a great ball. When Babbis Vovos fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agios Akakios's protests and gave Babbis Vovos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Babbis Vovos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vassilis Tsantirakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Vovos in the 39th minute of play. Babbis Vovos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vassilis Tsantirakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Dimitris Iordanis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thasas BC and the Agios Akakios players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Thasas BC got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Iordanis. After a rather tough play, Thasas BC's Dimitris Kaikas got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Spyros Sabatakis made the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Tsantirakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babbis Vovos's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Paraskevas Laganas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Tsantirakis having to interfere. Babbis Vovos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dimitris Iordanis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Paraskevas Laganas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Thasas BC's Vassilis Tsantirakis. Vassilis Tsantirakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paraskevas Laganas got free with Vassilis Tsantirakis in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paraskevas Laganas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vassilis Tsantirakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Babbis Vovos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Paraskevas Laganas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 82nd minute, Babbis Vovos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vassilis Tsantirakis. The goal made the score 0-4. Thasas BC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Babbis Vovos 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. The audience was convinced that Spyros Sabatakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavlos Papoulis was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 0-6 became the score in the 93rd minute when Babbis Vovos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
