Sotiris Kapeliotis's late challenge caught a Spathaíïka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sotiris Kapeliotis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Koskiniα FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Kapeliotis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Spathaíïka's Vassilis Vasiliou got a free kick in the 37th minute. Kleanthis Nikolaidis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Markos Moraitelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koskiniα FC. When Michalis Lentakos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vassilis Vasiliou to make the kick off. Koskiniα FC's Nasos Tsipas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Koskiniα FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Trifon Alexidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spathaíïka's supporters rose to their feet, but Trifon Alexidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nasos Tsipas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marinos Zafiriou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marinos Zafiriou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nasos Tsipas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Spathaíïka players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
