In the 10thth minute of the game Alexandros Laskaridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asteras Rachoulas FC's Antonis Bosoulas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgos Koubaroulis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Alexandros Laskaridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Antonis Bosoulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loukianos Neophytou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Makis Stathiadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fotis Kastoriadis made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Argyris Viglas sent off a good shot on target. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonis Bosoulas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Koubaroulis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 71 minutes into the game, one of Livádhia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Argyris Viglas ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandros Laskaridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alexandros Laskaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Bosoulas having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asteras Rachoulas FC's goalkeeper Antonis Bosoulas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Makis Stathiadis got free with Antonis Bosoulas in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Achilleas Kontothodoros kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Antonis Bosoulas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoforos Samoladas in the 97th minute. Argyris Viglas struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Fotis Kastoriadis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asteras Rachoulas FC. Asteras Rachoulas FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
