Christos Pavlakakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iordanis Rellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Apostolos Smernos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sellνon BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apostolos Smernos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolos Smernos in the 22nd minute of the match. Panagiotis Theofilakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lambis Gerokostas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Christos Pavlakakis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Spyros Tsitsinakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sellνon BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Spyros Tsitsinakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spyros Tsitsinakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Sari Pazar defense, Apostolos Smernos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paraskevas Moraitopoulos. The Sari Pazar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paraskevas Moraitopoulos should have stopped the shot. Apostolos Smernos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apostolos Smernos in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paraskevas Moraitopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolos Smernos in the 74th minute of play forced Sari Pazar's goalkeeper Paraskevas Moraitopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Apostolos Smernos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Spyros Tsitsinakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paraskevas Moraitopoulos was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Spyros Tsitsinakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Moraitopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sellνon BC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
