The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Paraskevas Moraitopoulos managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Perama F.C's Fivos Pountidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fivos Pountidis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Paraskevas Moraitopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 7 minutes into the game, Fivos Pountidis lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Paraskevas Moraitopoulos. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fivos Pountidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiros Valsamakis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Christos Matzios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fivos Pountidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paraskevas Moraitopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Fivos Pountidis in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paraskevas Moraitopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 26 minutes into the match, Christos Matzios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paraskevas Moraitopoulos, 3-0. Vladimiros Valsamakis struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perama F.C. Vladimiros Valsamakis's late challenge caught a Sari Pazar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiros Valsamakis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Perama F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vladimiros Valsamakis hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fivos Pountidis got free with Paraskevas Moraitopoulos in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Matzios in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Isidoros Liolidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sari Pazar and the Perama F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Sari Pazar got a freekick which was hit by Isidoros Liolidis. With a little luck, Sari Pazar's Paraskevas Moraitopoulos got control of the ball when Fivos Pountidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fivos Pountidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fivos Pountidis was the one to do the kick off. Manos Dellios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aimilios Vasakis in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Sari Pazar getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Panos Tsakoumis hit a great ball. Christos Matzios, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fivos Pountidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Moraitopoulos having to interfere. Manos Dellios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panagiotis Theofilakos in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Aimilios Vasakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Dellios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Christos Matzios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fivos Pountidis in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fivos Pountidis in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paraskevas Moraitopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Christos Korkolis took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Manos Dellios to make any attempt to save it. After 77 played minutes Sari Pazar got a freekick which was hit by Aimilios Vasakis. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Matzios, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Perama F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aimilios Vasakis came free, but Manos Dellios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manos Dellios acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Michalis Amanatidis. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Fivos Pountidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perama F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Fivos Pountidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paraskevas Moraitopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Perama F.C were the better team. Perama F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
