Themistoklis Piatas in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikos Orfanopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 7th minute Stathis Papanastasiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Orfanopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themistoklis Piatas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pantelis Zigourakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alekos Vakoufaris in the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Néos Koukloutzás BC's Alekos Vakoufaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pantelis Zigourakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 21 minutes, Stathis Papanastasiou made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Néos Koukloutzás BC's Nikos Orfanopoulos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nikos Orfanopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Papanastasiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Stathis Papanastasiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stathis Papanastasiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikos Orfanopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikos Orfanopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Papanastasiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stathis Papanastasious short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Nikos Orfanopoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute, Stathis Papanastasiou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pao FC's Stathis Papanastasiou in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Néos Koukloutzás BC's goalie prevented a goal. If Themistoklis Piatas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stathis Papanastasiou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikos Orfanopoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Stathis Papanastasiou slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. Néos Koukloutzás BC's Nikos Orfanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Papanastasiou in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stathis Papanastasiou to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Néos Koukloutzás BC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Tzanetos. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Themistoklis Piatas sped through Néos Koukloutzás BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikos Orfanopoulos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavlos Baboulas got free with Pantelis Zigourakis in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute Stathis Papanastasiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Orfanopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes, Menelaos Tsoulidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Néos Koukloutzás BC and the Pao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Néos Koukloutzás BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menelaos Tsoulidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Ilias Vrizas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikos Orfanopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes Néos Koukloutzás BC got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Tirovolas. Nikos Orfanopoulos came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pao FC's Stathis Papanastasiou. But to his dismay, Stathis Papanastasiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Themistoklis Piatas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pao FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
