Veniamin Violopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Papanastasiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Veniamin Violopoulos made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Stathis Papanastasiou sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Stathis Papanastasiou took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Veniamin Violopoulos to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akakios Kasnakidis during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Lido FC got a freekick which was hit by Akakios Kasnakidis. In the 25th minute of the match, Themistoklis Piatas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Veniamin Violopoulos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Themistoklis Piatas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lido FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Stathis Papanastasiou scored to the left of an out of position Veniamin Violopoulos, making the score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Fivos Kirkos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lido FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pao FC's Fivos Kirkos got a free kick in the 31st minute. Fanis Kostenoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Dimitris Charakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Veniamin Violopoulos managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Pao FC's Themistoklis Piatas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lido FC's Veniamin Violopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Lido FC from getting a goal against them. Stathis Papanastasiou struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Veniamin Violopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pao FC.

The wind increased when Fanis Kostenoglou made the kick off in the second half. Veniamin Violopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Piatas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miltos Spiliotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pantelis Zigourakis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themistoklis Piatas in the 72nd minute of play forced Lido FC's goalkeeper Veniamin Violopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Stathis Papanastasiou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lido FC's Veniamin Violopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Pao FC's Themistoklis Piatas in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Veniamin Violopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stathis Papanastasiou's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stathis Papanastasiou in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veniamin Violopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute Themistoklis Piatas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Violopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lido FC's Ermis Baroumas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Pao FC were the better team. Pao FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
