Ricardo Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kostas Vamvakoulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Rodhνsta BC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenios Mitrakoglou came free, but Kostas Vamvakoulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, SIDARI FC's Eugenios Mitrakoglou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kostas Vamvakoulas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aggelos Kokoris hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Emmanouil Kazatzidis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 14th minute, when SIDARI FC's Fivos Moulos after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Kostas Vamvakoulas in Rodhνsta BC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. SIDARI FC's Eugenios Mitrakoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Vamvakoulas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Moutinho in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Rodhνsta BC booed when SIDARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Chatzidimos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodhνsta BC's Chatziioannou Stamatopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Kostas Vamvakoulas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aggelos Giataganis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kostas Vamvakoulas firmly grabbed it by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, SIDARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Minas Mavrigiannakis came free, but Christos Kreziadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rodhνsta BC's Prokopis Kazantzakoglou got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Aggelos Giataganis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SIDARI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aggelos Giataganis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Vamvakoulas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziioannou Stamatopoulos in the 52nd minute of play forced SIDARI FC's goalkeeper Christos Kreziadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aggelos Kokoris kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Chatziioannou Stamatopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, SIDARI FC's Ricardo Moutinho made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Vamvakoulas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christos Kreziadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziioannou Stamatopoulos in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Themistoklis Manouselis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodhνsta BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Themistoklis Manouselis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Kreziadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SIDARI FC made a substitution. Koulis Manouselis replaced Jon Törnblom. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind SIDARI FC's goalkeeper Christos Kreziadis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Minas Mavrigiannakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Christos Kreziadis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kostas Vamvakoulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aggelos Giataganis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Kostas Vamvakoulas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aggelos Giataganis in the 89th minute of the match. Christos Kreziadis came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rodhνsta BC's Minas Mavrigiannakis. But to his dismay, Minas Mavrigiannakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. SIDARI FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
