The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stathis Pezos during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kakkoulion BC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Stathis Pezos hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Stathis Pezos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miltos Tsiantakis. ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stathis Pezos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Mersinias in the 8th minute of play forced ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s goalkeeper Miltos Tsiantakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Soulis Krasopoulos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kakkoulion BC's Sotiris Kokkalas. Sotiris Kokkalas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sotiris Kokkalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Mantalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Christos Mersinias made a precise shot to the right of Miltos Tsiantakis. ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 23 minutes into the match, Kakkoulion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Mantalakis came free, but Sotiris Kokkalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Mantalakis in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sotiris Kokkalas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aimilios Matalas's late challenge caught a ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aimilios Matalas helped the player get up and apologised. Aimilios Matalas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s Dimitris Mantalakis got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Dimitris Mantalakis took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Sotiris Kokkalas to make any attempt to save it. Ntinos Sferas charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ntinos Sferas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Dimitris Mantalakis took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Sotiris Kokkalas to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Dimitris Mantalakis made the kick off in the second half. If Stathis Pezos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Stathis Pezos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kakkoulion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stathis Pezos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 58 in the game by Christos Mersinias from a close distance when the talented Miltos Tsiantakis managed to make a qualified save. ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s players were relieved. Dimitris Mantalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sotiris Kokkalas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Soulis Krasopoulos in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sotiris Kokkalas saved Kakkoulion BC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s Ntinos Sferas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Dimitris Mantalakis put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sotiris Kokkalas. In the 72nd match minute, ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Lucian to maneuver through the defense. When Kosmas Stavropodis came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Kakkoulion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kosmas Stavropodis couldn't finish the play. ⚽★★AzolimnoS Surou FC ★★⚽'s Miltos Tsiantakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Pezos in the 74th minute of play. Miltos Tsiantakis made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Aimilios Matalas sent off a good shot on target. Alekos Kalivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Christos Mersinias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kakkoulion BC's goalkeeper Sotiris Kokkalas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Kakkoulion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christodoulos Lazariou to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Stathis Pezos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miltos Tsiantakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kakkoulion BC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
