Spectators: 7607 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thalis Sofianos kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Sandhalion's goalkeeper Sotiris Lykos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thalis Sofianos. Daniil Papaggelis hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Thalis Sofianos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Veniamin Mizeropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sandhalion's Sotiris Lykos got control of the ball when Thalis Sofianos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thalis Sofianos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veniamin Mizeropoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veniamin Mizeropoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Veniamin Mizeropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandhalion's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Koulis Kalimeris scored to the left of an out of position Sotiris Lykos, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sandhalion's Veniamin Mizeropoulos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Vikings's Thalis Sofianos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sotiris Lykos. Sotiris Lykos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Thalis Sofianos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Thalis Sofianos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sotiris Lykos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 minutes, Marios Kechagioglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandhalion and the Vikings players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vikings booed when Sandhalion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marios Kechagioglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Thalis Sofianos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefanos Romanakoglou was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Koulis Kalimeris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sotiris Lykos was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Marinos Mitras was a little too slow when Valentinos Tsamaslidis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koulis Kalimeris in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sotiris Lykos saved Sandhalion from getting behind. Sotiris Lykos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thalis Sofianos went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Sotiris Lykos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thalis Sofianos's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Sandhalion got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Papaggelis. In the 78th minute, Daniil Papaggelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Babbis Palavakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sotiris Lykos skillfully saved the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Thalis Sofianos notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Sandhalion's Sotiris Lykos. Sotiris Lykos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sotiris Lykos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraklis Koutos in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Vikings were the better team. Vikings's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
