The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Melia. dodoni eagles made a substitution. Kostas Bakogiannis replaced Nikos Zagorakis. Melia's Vlassis Sinis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Melia from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Adamantios Stravogiannos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Melia got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Skrekis. Giannis Skrekis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded dodoni eagles left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Melia.
