Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Argyris Zotalopoulos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pilikαta BC's Theodosis Polizos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Zotalopoulos in the 4th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Akis Kalaitzis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 23 minutes of play, Malounion BC's Telis Psichogiopoulos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theodosis Polizos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theodosis Polizos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Argyris Zotalopoulos went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the game, Dimitris Kourelas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malounion BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilikαta BC the free kick. The supporters of Pilikαta BC booed when Malounion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Kourelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malounion BC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Valentinos Tsiopas scored to the left of an out of position Liviu Jupâneanu, making the score, 1-2. Argyris Zotalopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argyris Zotalopoulos scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theodosis Polizos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentinos Tsiopas to strike the kick off in the second half. Liviu Jupâneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Kalaitzis in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Valentinos Tsiopas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilikαta BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentinos Tsiopas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Jupâneanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th play minute Kostas Skrekis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Theodosis Polizos. 1-4. Kostas Skrekis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Jupâneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Kalaitzis in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Akis Kalaitzis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liviu Jupâneanu was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Valentinos Tsiopas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malounion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Zotalopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akis Kalaitzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Jupâneanu having to interfere. Liviu Jupâneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentinos Tsiopas in the 93rd minute of the match. Malounion BC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
