Pipis Vryzas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Neophytou, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Loukas Karoubalos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Daniil Neophytou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniil Neophytou in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pipis Vryzas saved Hagios Georgios from getting behind. A well placed Daniil Neophytou short distance shot in the 37th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 40th minute, Aris Tsartsikidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniil Neophytou to make the kick off. Pipis Vryzas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Neophytou, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hagios Georgios's Pipis Vryzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Neophytou in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Nikiforos Veniamin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Neophytou in the 96th minute of play forced Hagios Georgios's goalkeeper Pipis Vryzas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The free fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hagios Georgios had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
