Mavroϊdi's Stamatis Karaliopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mavroϊdi from getting a goal against them. Andhrσni's Alkaios Pathekas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Stavrakas in the 9th minute of play. Stelios Koutras hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Leonidas Sapounidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkaios Pathekas having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Kostas Stavrakas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alkaios Pathekas. Andhrσni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kostas Stavrakas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nasos Tataridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Stamatis Karaliopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonidas Sapounidis struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alkaios Pathekas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mavroϊdi. After a rather tough play, Andhrσni's Stelios Koutras got a free kick in the 37th minute. Akakios Sabanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Nasos Tataridis sped through Mavroϊdi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stamatis Karaliopoulos. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nasos Tataridis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Andhrσni's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Stavrakas came free, but Alkaios Pathekas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stelios Koutras hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Kostas Stavrakas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkaios Pathekas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alkaios Pathekas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonidas Sapounidis's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Alkaios Pathekas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Stavrakas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Leonidas Sapounidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Alkaios Pathekas made a huge save. After having played for 83 minutes, Kostas Stavrakas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mavroϊdi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Stavrakas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stamatis Karaliopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akakios Sabanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mavroϊdi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konstantinos Dimitriou was slow to take the kick. During this time Andhrσni's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Andhrσni's Konstantinos Dimitriou to fire away a dangerous shot which Stamatis Karaliopoulos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Andhrσni's goalkeeper Alkaios Pathekas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
