Spectators: 6747 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christos Kalantidis got the match started through his kick off. Kostas Stavrakas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akis Agapakis having to make a save. In the 6th minute, Nikos Maropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Stratos Lazarakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mavroϊdi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Náxos FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Christos Kalantidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Náxos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Kalantidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stamatis Karaliopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christos Kalantidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolis Zabetakis got free with Akis Agapakis in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, Mavroϊdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolis Zabetakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Kostas Stavrakas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Agapakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Stratos Lazarakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Akis Agapakis, 1-0. Náxos FC's Akis Agapakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Stavrakas in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Náxos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Efthimis Nikiforou hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Náxos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Souliopoulos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Lazarakis in the 29th minute of play forced Náxos FC's goalkeeper Akis Agapakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolis Zabetakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Akis Agapakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamatis Karaliopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christos Kalantidis went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Nikos Maropoulos's late challenge caught a Mavroϊdi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Maropoulos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Náxos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Maropoulos to maneuver through the defense. Akis Agapakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Lazarakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Náxos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacharias Philipou came free, but Akis Agapakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akis Agapakis came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Mavroϊdi's Tolis Zabetakis. But to his dismay, Tolis Zabetakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kostas Stavrakas made the kick off in the second half. Tolis Zabetakis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Náxos FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kostas Souliopoulos hit a great ball. Akis Agapakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stratos Lazarakis in the 61st minute of the match. Leonidas Sapounidis took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akis Agapakis. Akis Agapakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 66th minute, Kostas Souliopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Leonidas Sapounidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Agapakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Christos Kalantidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Christos Kalantidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stamatis Karaliopoulos. That made the score 3-2 in the 72 minute of play. Akis Agapakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stratos Lazarakis in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Stratos Lazarakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Akis Agapakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th match minute, Mavroϊdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoforos Kalinichtas to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Kostas Stavrakas made a precise shot to the right of Akis Agapakis. Náxos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Christos Kalantidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
