Kleon Valassiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spyros Katsoulakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grigoris Kouroupetsoglou to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sotos Iliadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dasochσrion's supporters rose to their feet, but Sotos Iliadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkaios Tsigaridas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alkaios Tsigaridas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotos Iliadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Kostas Tatsis notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of kalamos's Alkaios Tsigaridas. Dasochσrion's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
