Sotiris Georgiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaproi FC's goalkeeper Pavlos Vrazilianos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Argyris Kontogiannopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marinos Kourmentalas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kaproi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Giorgos Koutsovassilis scored to the left of an out of position Pavlos Vrazilianos, making the score, 1-2. After 26 minutes, Viktoras Giotidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaproi FC and the METS AO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viktoras Giotidis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. METS AO's Apostolis Spertos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pavlos Vrazilianos but with some difficulty. Sotiris Georgiadis took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marinos Kourmentalas. Marinos Kourmentalas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Giorgos Koutsovassilis struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Pavlos Vrazilianos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for METS AO. Marinos Kourmentalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Kontogiannopoulos in the 38th minute of play. Marinos Kourmentalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Kontogiannopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute Argyris Kontogiannopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinos Kourmentalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The METS AO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kaproi FC were winning 1-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Georgiadis in the 52nd minute of play forced METS AO's goalkeeper Marinos Kourmentalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Isidoros Kazantzidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Vrazilianos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotiris Georgiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marinos Kourmentalas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marinos Kourmentalas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Kontogiannopoulos in the 71st minute. With a little luck, METS AO's Marinos Kourmentalas got control of the ball when Argyris Kontogiannopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vassilis Kosmoulis charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Kosmoulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Vassilis Kosmoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Kaproi FC booed when METS AO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaggelos Konstantakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Argyris Kontogiannopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Kaproi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Kontogiannopoulos couldn't finish the play. The METS AO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kaproi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
