An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Rodanakis in the 11th minute of play forced ASTERAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Lakis Papamichail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lakis Papamichail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Sterpis in the 16th minute of play. Telis Skandalis scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lakis Papamichail, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Telis Skandalis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lakis Papamichail. ASTERAS F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Telis Skandalis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 35th match minute, Tycherón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Daras to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telis Skandalis in the 38th minute of play forced ASTERAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Lakis Papamichail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lakis Papamichail didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefanos Sterpis went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thodoris Pantelopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ASTERAS F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lakis Papamichail should have stopped the shot. When Telis Skandalis came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Tycherón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telis Skandalis couldn't finish the play. If Themistoklis Maragos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakis Papamichail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telis Skandalis in the 62nd minute of the match. Lakis Papamichail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telis Skandalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to ASTERAS F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Angelino Aguilera hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Akakios Sfakianos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Lakis Papamichail was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 minutes of play, Tycherón's Telis Skandalis made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lakis Papamichail was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lakis Papamichail made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telis Skandalis in the 96th minute. The ASTERAS F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tycherón were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
