Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nasos Ntavelis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Giannis Zacharakis was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Nasos Ntavelis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nasos Ntavelis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Karousis in the 10th minute of play forced Kosmirα's goalkeeper Panos Amanatidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prokopis Kostakoglou's late challenge caught a Yiourgánista BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prokopis Kostakoglou helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kosmirα getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Prokopis Kostakoglou hit a great ball. If Menelaos Katsanevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kosmirα's Nasos Ntavelis got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasios Bachaderoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Panos Amanatidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaggelis Zorbas's late challenge caught a Yiourgánista BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaggelis Zorbas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Kosmirα was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Zorbas to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Kosmirα's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Karousis came free, but Panos Amanatidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasios Bachaderoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Panos Amanatidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Koulis Katsourinis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Kosmirα's Nasos Ntavelis got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giannis Zacharakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nasos Ntavelis's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Menelaos Katsanevas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 minutes Kosmirα's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Koulis Katsourinis who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kosmirα's goalie and right to Anastasios Bachaderoglou. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kosmirα's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yiourgánista BC's zone, Menelaos Katsanevas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Zacharakis came out of the goal and Menelaos Katsanevas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Yiourgánista BC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Minas Karterouliotis hit a great ball. Nasos Ntavelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Zacharakis having to interfere. Panos Amanatidis was a little too slow when Stathis Karousis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-1. 71 minutes into the match, Stathis Karousis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panos Amanatidis. Kosmirα's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stathis Karousis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Giannis Zacharakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Ntavelis in the 76th minute of the match. Nasos Ntavelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Zacharakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nasos Ntavelis ran back to his position shaking his head. Panos Amanatidis had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Anastasios Bachaderoglou from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stathis Karousis got free with Panos Amanatidis in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stathis Karousis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Panos Amanatidis made a huge save. The Yiourgánista BC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
