Kostas Savakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Kornaros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos FC's Ntinos Fotiadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apostolos Iliopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolas Meletiou got free with Kostas Savakis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michalis Nestoroulis's late challenge caught a Panathinaikos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Panathinaikos FC booed when Pangráti BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Nestoroulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petros Kostiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Vrasidas Papadaskalopoulos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Apostolos Iliopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakis Kokas, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Panathinaikos FC fully deserved thier win.
