Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lakis Kokas made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lakis Kokas in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denzel Beuermann saved RODOS FC from getting behind. Panathinaikos FC's Lakis Kokas got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lakis Kokas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Panathinaikos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakis Kokas couldn't finish the play. Denzel Beuermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Koutsilas in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lakis Kokas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denzel Beuermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Koutsilas in the 15th minute of play. Denzel Beuermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ntinos Fotiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Ntinos Fotiadis made a precise shot to the right of Denzel Beuermann. RODOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Akakios Baboulas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kostas Savakis. That made the score 1-2 in the 44 minute of play. In the 47th minute, Kostas Aggelopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panathinaikos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Akakios Baboulas made the kick off in the second half. Denzel Beuermann came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Panathinaikos FC's Lakis Kokas. But to his dismay, Lakis Kokas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Kostas Savakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akakios Baboulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panathinaikos FC's Lakis Kokas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Aggelopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lakis Kokas took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denzel Beuermann. Denzel Beuermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Lakis Kokas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denzel Beuermann having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Panathinaikos FC's Ntinos Fotiadis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Lakis Kokas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Denzel Beuermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Renos Bouzoukis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Savakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denzel Beuermann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lakis Kokas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 84 minute of play. Lakis Kokas in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Denzel Beuermann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Prokopis Boulikakis came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Panathinaikos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prokopis Boulikakis couldn't finish the play.
