Μακεδονια Ελληνικη:s Nikos Kavouras showed great skill when he stopped Charis Marselis:s penalty. Nikos Kavouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alketas Prezerakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Stamatis Mastorakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lakis Bousoulas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stamatis Mastorakis came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Μακεδονια Ελληνικη fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Mastorakis couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanasis Pentasferos in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Kavouras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alketas Prezerakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nikos Kavouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
