The supporters of Μακεδονια Ελληνικη booed when Melissouryoi BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loukas Xilas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Μακεδονια Ελληνικη's Markos Pantelis got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ntinos Tsesmelis struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Nikos Kavouras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melissouryoi BC. Adamantios Kazantzakos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Stamatis Mastorakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The Μακεδονια Ελληνικη fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Μακεδονια Ελληνικη's Philip Sande looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonis Chatzis during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Μακεδονια Ελληνικη got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Chatzis. Loukas Xilas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogenis Kourbanas was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Diogenis Kourbanas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melissouryoi BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogenis Kourbanas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Melissouryoi BC's Iosif Sepsas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When Iosif Sepsas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Melissouryoi BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Sepsas couldn't finish the play. Μακεδονια Ελληνικη's Philip Sande got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikos Kavouras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogenis Kourbanas in the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Iosif Sepsas took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Nikos Kavouras to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Μακεδονια Ελληνικη booed when Melissouryoi BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustratios Kappos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Nassiakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Themis Abaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Sepsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogenis Kourbanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nikos Kavouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Μακεδονια Ελληνικη's Nikos Kavouras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Μακεδονια Ελληνικη from getting a goal against them. Nikos Kavouras made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Adamantios Kazantzakos sent off a good shot on target. Melissouryoi BC's Diogenis Kourbanas got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikos Kavouras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iosif Sepsas went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The Μακεδονια Ελληνικη supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Melissouryoi BC's performance. The match ended with a win for Melissouryoi BC.
