Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diogenis Kourbanas kicked off to start the match. Themis Abaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manos Kokkinopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in dodoni eagles's zone, Iosif Sepsas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Kokoras came out of the goal and Iosif Sepsas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Gábor Csernyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melissouryoi BC's Themis Abaris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Louis Reading elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 15th minute Diogenis Kourbanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Kokoras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogenis Kourbanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Kokoras having to interfere. The supporters of dodoni eagles booed when Melissouryoi BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adamantios Kazantzakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paris Okkas fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melissouryoi BC's protests and gave Paris Okkas a yellow card for diving instead. Paris Okkas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Themis Abaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Reading, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alex Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themis Abaris having to interfere. Melissouryoi BC's Themis Abaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Reading in the 29th minute of play. Kostas Kokoras came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Melissouryoi BC's Iosif Sepsas. But to his dismay, Iosif Sepsas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Melissouryoi BC's Themis Abaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Reading in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to dodoni eagles getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Manos Kokkinopoulos hit a great ball. Themis Abaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Reading in the 43rd minute of play. Paris Okkas was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Paris Okkas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Louis Reading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themis Abaris having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Reading to strike the kick off in the second half. Themis Abaris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louis Reading went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Louis Reading had several of the Melissouryoi BC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Themis Abaris as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis Reading in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themis Abaris saved Melissouryoi BC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Kleon Skoufas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Themis Abaris. That made the score 1-4 in the 68 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Melissouryoi BC's goalkeeper Themis Abaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Gustafsson. With his leg Themis Abaris managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when dodoni eagles's Louis Reading fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Themis Abaris didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when dodoni eagles's Louis Reading shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 81 minutes into the match, dodoni eagles's Gábor Csernyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Themis Abaris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. dodoni eagles made a substitution. Prodromos Adamos replaced Gábor Csernyi. A collision led to Melissouryoi BC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Prodromos Papadamou hit a great ball. Iosif Sepsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kostas Kokoras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prodromos Adamos in the 92nd minute of play forced Melissouryoi BC's goalkeeper Themis Abaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Themis Abaris made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alex Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, dodoni eagles's Themis Abaris threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Prodromos Adamos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diogenis Kourbanas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over dodoni eagles could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Melissouryoi BC throughout the match.
