Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fivos Kokkalas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nikos Kavouras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tilemachos Aggelopoulos in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koulis Vlasakidis in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikos Kavouras saved Μακεδονια Ελληνικη from getting behind. Eugenios Kyriakatos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Giannis Nassiakos came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Μακεδονια Ελληνικη fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Nassiakos couldn't finish the play. Nikos Kavouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Vlasakidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Stamatis Mastorakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fivos Kokkalas having to make a save. Fivos Kokkalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Lagonidis in the 42nd minute of the match. If Stamatis Mastorakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petros Patistas took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikos Kavouras. Nikos Kavouras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stamatis Mastorakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fivos Kokkalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamatis Mastorakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Fivos Kokkalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Sande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stamatis Mastorakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fivos Kokkalas having to interfere. Philip Sande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fivos Kokkalas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fivos Kokkalas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stamatis Mastorakis went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Beilerli's Fivos Kokkalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Mastorakis in the 66th minute of play. Fivos Kokkalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Mastorakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stamatis Mastorakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fivos Kokkalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamatis Mastorakis in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Stamatis Mastorakis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Beilerli's Fivos Kokkalas. Fivos Kokkalas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Beilerli's zone, Stamatis Mastorakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fivos Kokkalas came out of the goal and Stamatis Mastorakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Eugenios Kyriakatos from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Nikos Kavouras's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fivos Kokkalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Mastorakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
