In the 9th minute, Giannis Kourelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charalambos Meletis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Kourelis in the 12th minute of play. Spaliarιοka FC's Lazaros Tsoris got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes of play, Spaliarιοka FC's Giannis Kourelis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charalambos Meletis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panos Mastrokostas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleftherios Brinis in the 24th minute. The supporters of Ayios Nikólaos booed when Spaliarιοka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Lemonis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Spaliarιοka FC's goalkeeper Panos Mastrokostas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Giotatos. Giannis Kourelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Charalambos Meletis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Giannis Kourelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charalambos Meletis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Takis Lemonis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ayios Nikólaos's zone, Giannis Kourelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charalambos Meletis came out of the goal and Giannis Kourelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Giannis Kourelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spaliarιοka FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Kourelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilias Zervakos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ayios Nikólaos's goalkeeper Charalambos Meletis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazaros Tsoris. 57 minutes into the game, Ilias Zervakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayios Nikólaos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spaliarιοka FC the free kick. In the 57th minute, Ilias Zervakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayios Nikólaos's Charalambos Meletis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ayios Nikólaos from getting a goal against them. Lazaros Tsoris succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 68th playminute. Charalambos Meletis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Kourelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Giannis Kourelis's late challenge caught a Ayios Nikólaos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giannis Kourelis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Giannis Kourelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panos Mastrokostas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilias Zervakos in the 78th minute of play. Lazaros Tsoris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giannis Kourelis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Ayios Nikólaos's Charalambos Meletis got control of the ball when Lazaros Tsoris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lazaros Tsoris could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Charalambos Meletis however easily saved by the left post. The Ayios Nikólaos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spaliarιοka FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
