Dionysis Tsoukalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaios Karavitis in the 6th minute of the match. Lambis Grifisas struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Dionysis Tsoukalas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zerétsi. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionysis Tsoukalas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Vaios Karavitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zerétsi and the Titanas Karpathou players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vaios Karavitis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dimitris Giannakakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nektarios Moustogiannis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Giorgos Kamilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nektarios Moustogiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Zerétsi's Nektarios Moustogiannis got control of the ball when Dimitris Giannakakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ilias Laganas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Giorgos Kamilas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Titanas Karpathou's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Kamilas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nektarios Moustogiannis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giorgos Kamilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nektarios Moustogiannis having to interfere. If Dimitris Giannakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Zerétsi's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Kamilas came free, but Nektarios Moustogiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Giannakakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Nektarios Moustogiannis made a huge save. Dimitris Giannakakis made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 37thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Nektarios Moustogiannis would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With a little luck, Zerétsi's Nektarios Moustogiannis got control of the ball when Dimitris Giannakakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vaios Karavitis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Vaios Karavitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vaios Karavitis took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionysis Tsoukalas. Dionysis Tsoukalas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giorgos Kamilas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Zinon Sagriotis fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zerétsi's protests and gave Zinon Sagriotis a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zerétsi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Titanas Karpathou a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iosif Paspalidis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zerétsi's Nektarios Moustogiannis. 1-1. In the 60thth minute of the game Dimitris Giannakakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zerétsi's Nektarios Moustogiannis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgos Kamilas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nektarios Moustogiannis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Zerétsi's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Kamilas came free, but Nektarios Moustogiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Giannakakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zerétsi's Nektarios Moustogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Giannakakis in the 88th minute of play. Dionysis Tsoukalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Laganas in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Titanas Karpathou got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Karataidis. In the 99th minute, Vassilis Kalfoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Titanas Karpathou's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
