Spectators: 7578 (Terracing: 5684, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexis Mamatziolas started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iakovos Mitrakoglou in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyriakos Tserkesidis saved Vathikhσri FC from getting behind. Gerasimos Partalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Abhinivesa Jethani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abhinivesa Jethani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Mamatziolas in the 22nd minute of play. Kyriakos Tserkesidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Lyberogiannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Anthimos Karidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iakovos Mitrakoglou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kyriakos Tserkesidis having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Kosmas Lyberogiannis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Alexis Mamatziolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abhinivesa Jethani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexis Mamatziolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abhinivesa Jethani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, PAS kerasovo's Kosmas Lyberogiannis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kyriakos Tserkesidis. Kyriakos Tserkesidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Kyriakos Tserkesidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iakovos Mitrakoglou's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Iakovos Mitrakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Tserkesidis having to interfere. Kyriakos Tserkesidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakovos Mitrakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Iakovos Mitrakoglou lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Kyriakos Tserkesidis. Fanis Kanavaros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kyriakos Tserkesidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nontas Margaritis during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, PAS kerasovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nontas Margaritis to maneuver through the defense. Anthimos Karidis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Iakovos Mitrakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Tserkesidis having to interfere. If Iakovos Mitrakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PAS kerasovo played a much better game than Vathikhσri FC and deserved their victory. The Vathikhσri FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
