After 9 minutes, Petros Kalinichtas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oranie and the OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petros Kalinichtas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's Gerasimos Valaoras got a free kick in the 12th minute. Oranie's Theocharis Kolokotronis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerasimos Valaoras in the 15th minute of play. Petros Kalinichtas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stergios Zouboulakis having to interfere. OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's Stergios Zouboulakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC from getting a goal against them. When Oranie's Petros Kalinichtas in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stergios Zouboulakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute Kyriakos Michelakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theocharis Kolokotronis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stergios Zouboulakis made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Marios Stavrakakis sent off a good shot on target. Antonis Ikonomakis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petros Kalinichtas to strike the kick off in the second half. Kleanthis Pallis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Marios Stavrakakis took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stergios Zouboulakis. Stergios Zouboulakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Theocharis Kolokotronis was a little too slow when Kyriakos Michelakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Vaios Meimaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleftherios Kalomiris struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Stergios Zouboulakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oranie. After 93 minutes of play, Oranie's Marios Stavrakakis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stergios Zouboulakis was left in no man's land by his defense there!
