Tolis Bagasakis's late challenge caught a Voskνna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolis Bagasakis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Arkochóri BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolis Bagasakis to maneuver through the defense. Christos Nikolaidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alketas Gagatsis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Nikolaidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Stratos Martis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Gagatsis having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Miltos Sinodinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Voskνna FC defense, Giannis Maniatis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Barkoglou. The Voskνna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Barkoglou should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 59th match minute, Voskνna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Siontis to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Panagiotis Sapoutzakis from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Vassilis Barkoglou's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 91st minute, Dimitris Stratzalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alketas Gagatsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Nikolaidis in the 97th minute of the match. The Arkochóri BC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
