Pythagoras.F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tasos Livaditis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Papaggelakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexis Giannopoulos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pythagoras.F.C.'s Babbis Roubakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iason Brinis in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Khalkios getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sotiris Bourousis hit a great ball. Grigoris Varemenos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Khalkios's Giorgos Spilias got a free kick in the 28th minute. Khalkios's Kostas Papaggelakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savas Kapetanakis in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ilias Bikas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khalkios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pythagoras.F.C. the free kick. Michalis Tsaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Papaggelakos having to interfere. After some careless play in the Khalkios defense, Nektarios Tzanetos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Papaggelakos. The Khalkios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Papaggelakos should have stopped the shot. Themis Metaxas's late challenge caught a Pythagoras.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Themis Metaxas helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Pythagoras.F.C. a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dimos Kokotoulis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Khalkios's Kostas Papaggelakos. 0-3. Lakis Loizos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Pythagoras.F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Iason Brinis made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Pythagoras.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Iason Brinis came free, but Babbis Roubakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Tasos Livaditis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pythagoras.F.C. and the Khalkios players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Khalkios's zone, Michalis Tsaris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Papaggelakos came out of the goal and Michalis Tsaris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Babbis Roubakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Spiliotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Babbis Roubakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kleanthis Papoulias in the 72nd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Kleanthis Papoulias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Babbis Roubakis. Pythagoras.F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kleanthis Papoulias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Savas Kapetanakis kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Lakis Loizos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pythagoras.F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khalkios the free kick. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Khalkios. Alexis Antzas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Babbis Roubakis. 2-3. 95 minutes into the match, Pythagoras.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Spilias came free, but Babbis Roubakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Pythagoras.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Iason Brinis came free, but Babbis Roubakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
