Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Christoforos Seletopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farsala's Sakis Bikakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paraskevas Kargakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 9th minute of play. Paraskevas Kargakos came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Farsala's Stefanos Papadogiannis. But to his dismay, Stefanos Papadogiannis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ladhokhorion's Paraskevas Kargakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Fanis Zacharopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Kargakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fanis Zacharopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Paraskevas Kargakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraskevas Kargakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefanos Papadogiannis's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Christoforos Seletopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sakis Bikakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladhokhorion's Evripidis Kasselakis got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimitris Laganas's late challenge caught a Ladhokhorion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Laganas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Farsala getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dimitris Laganas hit a great ball. Sakis Bikakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evripidis Kasselakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Evripidis Kasselakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sakis Bikakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Farsala's Stefanos Papadogiannis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paraskevas Kargakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evripidis Kasselakis to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ladhokhorion's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Papadogiannis came free, but Paraskevas Kargakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanis Zacharopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Kargakos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 55th minute of play forced Ladhokhorion's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kargakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraskevas Kargakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 59th minute of the match. Iakovos Moutafis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sakis Bikakis. Farsala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Farsala getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dimitris Laganas hit a great ball. Nasos Karagiannakis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paraskevas Kargakos was a little too slow when Stefanos Papadogiannis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 73rd minute of play forced Ladhokhorion's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kargakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakis Bikakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evripidis Kasselakis in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Papadogiannis in the 78th minute of play forced Ladhokhorion's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kargakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanis Zacharopoulos in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paraskevas Kargakos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Christoforos Seletopoulos scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sakis Bikakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sakis Bikakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evripidis Kasselakis in the 88th minute of play. When Christoforos Seletopoulos got free in front of the goal in the 90th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sakis Bikakis was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 94th minute Christoforos Seletopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakis Bikakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stefanos Papadogiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paraskevas Kargakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Zacharopoulos in the 97th minute of play. The Farsala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Farsala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
